An intercessor is one who is dedicated to changing the spiritual and natural conditions through standing in prayer before the Lord. In other words they pray a lot because they are convinced that it works.
A Missionary is one who has dedicated theselves to winning ground for the kingdom as their primary vocation. In other words they make spreading the gospel their main job.
An Intercessory Missionary is one who makes intercession unto the spread of the gospel their primary vocation. In other words, we pray a ton as our job because it truly affects all other areas of the body of Christ. We believe that by standing before the Lord in intercession we are bringing change across the globe. We are strengthening the hearts of believers, empowering missions work and deepening our own relationship with Jesus.
We are called to stand in prayer at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City where non-stop, 24/7 worship and prayer has been going on since 1999. As missionaries we raise our own support just as we would if we traveled overseas. We are always looking to find others who are willing to financially and prayerfully partner with us.
