Like most people on earth, I enjoy eating. However, I would enjoy it alot more if I still had the metabolism I had at 19 when I was walking all over a college campus for hours a day. I think we can all agree that food is one of those fun things about being corporeal. Did you know that food was also an important part of the Bible? In one of Jesus most famous miracles he made tuna fish sandwiches for a whole BUNCH of people.

I am discovering some funny things about being an office drone. I mean, corporate monkey, I mean…..crud….. wage slave!

honestly though I love my job. Well, not love like I love chocolate, my husband, someone else folding my laundry (that’s for you Refe) and so on. I love my job like I love paying bills, eating food, and watching my husband wear clothes that fit (almost…).

I told my mom today that just when I think I am getting to the end of the desert, I see one more cactus. Ever have one of those days that you are just crying out to God for something happy to happen in your spirit? I am BELIEVING that there will be water soon. I swear I am NOT giving in until I feel Him. But in the meantime, it’s made for some funny stories.

“Help Desk, is your caps lock on?”- my favorite phrase at work.

All that to say, I am trying very hard to feel the presence of God. Trying alllllllllllll the time. Even at work when I am trying very hard to explain things using tiny tiny words to people that are very annoyed they have to call me in the first place. And the thirteenth time I had to ask about keyboards, I asked myself for no reason at all…this question.
